New to Exporting? It’s time to get your ‘Ducks in a Row’

The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) recently launched a brand-new exporting campaign resource for New Zealand exporters called ‘Ducks in a Row’.

This new resource guide introduces companies who are new to exporting to a comprehensive overview of the exporting process, outlines the Government agencies involved, and breaks down the rules and regulations exporters need to adhere to. It works to help Kiwi exporters become successful in their business and ensures they’re ticking all the right boxes when it comes to exporting. 

If you’re just starting to think about exporting your products out of New Zealand, this is a great place to start. The resource is tailored towards new exporters to help them meet the various export requirements as a New Zealand manufacturer.

As an exporter, our very own EMA member, Zealong Tea Estate, have been successfully working within MPI guidelines, shipping their products around the world with ease. EMA Chief Executive Brett O’Riley says the new resource will simplify the exporting process for members and help them maintain standards.

“The new Ducks in a Row guide will help exporters who are new to exporting avoid confusion and ensure they’re kept in the loop with current regulations,” he says.

“Building a strong Kiwi brand and protecting its reputation, as Zealong Tea Estate have done, is critical to the exporting success for all EMA members,” says Mr O’Riley.
